Q.

While my boy lie down, his side ribs are prominent. Shall I worry about this

A. My baby girl is 3 months 10 days old. Her birth weight was 2.775 khmg and now 5.1 kg exclusively breastfeeding. From past few days I have started feeling her ribs. Is she underweight? Is it cause of concern?

A. no it shouldn't be a concern if it is visible only in the lay down position. It mostly happens when the babies are slim. even it is visible in adults as well. so no need to worry unless the child doesn't have any discomfort.

A. Apply cold compress to avoid swelling.. Look for bruises or pooling of the blood on the scalp.. Look for any changes in behavior. If he cries and I stay alert he probably ok.. If your child vomits losses consciousness doesn't want to play seems tired then better to consult doctor
