ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist6 years agoA. hi avoid cold climate, cold winds. give plenty of feeds , adequate rest to the baby. indirect steam , hot water bath will also help. consult your paediatrician if baby is feeding less, excessively drowsy or if cold increases. post illness babies might be cranky , irritable. nose block congestion also result in loss of appetite, difficult sucking. try different head up feeding position. feed by spoon otherwise. Maintain hygiene. if bottle feeding, maintain sterility as its a common source of infections. . put steamer in room or To give steam to babies, best way is to make your bathroom steamy by running the hot water tap. keep the baby away from source of steam. . .

Kirti ChandwalkerMom of 2 children6 years agoA. nasoclear drops and really very good for the sensation you can give it to your baby but if the cough and cold is too much then you should give warm compression on his back neck and feet cover baby head in feet properly and apply Vicks VapoRub
