which phone is the best for 11 yo. I am one of those parents who are hesitant to provide any phones until they reach adult age, however, are compelled given that he will be off on a trip with school.

If you don’t mind me saying this and if you do not believe in showing off or maintaining a pure group and all I would just recommend you if the phone that you are willing to give to the child is only to make a call to and to be in touch then give a regular number pad phone the ultimate goal is to be in touch with your child and if you have to give something which is having video call on FaceTime then you can buy any vivo or OPPO phone for your child which is within the range of ₹10-₹12,000 I also do not approve appreciate which is why am suggesting you to go for a Number pad
