Which medicine is good for fever for 2.5 year old Crocin or ibugesic plus?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a reaction of the body to different pyrogens released during any Infection. Usually temp more than 99 F is taken as fever . Mostly in children fever is because of viral infections like flu or RSV where the fever is there for 4-5 days but may persist even upto 2 weeks . Initially antipyretic like paracetamol is given in a dose of 15 mg / kg/ dose. Can be repeated after 4-6 hrs if needehd . Lukewarm sponge bath can be given as home remedy to detcrease fever. Adequate fluid intake is also beneficial. Urine output monitoring is necessary to avoid dehydration .

Crocin Is always going to be a better choice I will check it is mostly given in the case of emergency when the fever is really high am not coming down with any average medicine that you are giving so during that time the doctors are some advice is to go for another medicine otherwise this one is a better option to go
