POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy5 months agoA. For a 3-year-old baby, it’s important to provide a balanced diet that supports growth, energy, and brain development. Here are some healthy food options:
Fruits & Vegetables: Banana, apple, mango, papaya, carrot, beetroot, sweet potato, spinach—serve them cooked or as finger foods. Grains: Rice, chapati, poha, upma, oats, and whole wheat bread—easy to digest and energy-rich. Protein: Moong dal, toor dal, eggs (if not allergic), paneer, tofu, curd, and well-cooked meat or fish. Dairy: Milk (400–500 ml/day), cheese, curd—for calcium and growth. Healthy snacks: Homemade ladoos, fruit smoothies, boiled corn, or idli with chutney.
Give 3 small meals and 2 snacks a day. Encourage self-feeding and reduce junk or sugary food. If your child is a fussy eater, try colorful plates and variety to make food fun.
