NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy6 years agoA. hello please check with your doctor before you could give licorice to baby..child should take no more than 4 or 5 grams of licorice a day. Bottom line: OK in small amounts, but be extremely careful -- and be sure to tell your child's doctor about it.
