whether antibiotics reduce kids' immunity??my daughter had indigestion and paediatrician has prescribed offlomac for 3 days...I heard that antibiotics reduce kids' immunity...is it true??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is helping in boosting the immunity and not in decreasing it and it is advisable that you should complete the course of antibiotics which has been given by your doctor otherwise the child will suffer

See if you give too many antibiotics every now and then when it is going to definitely affect the immunity of the child antibiotics should be the last alternative that a child should be given apart from that you should always try to work upon natural stuff for the childWrite Your Answer Here
