Q.

whenever my son is having milk, he shows symptoms of diarrhea.. what can i give instead?

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like entederogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .

A. Hello dear parent! Try changing the milk brand. If the problem persists please consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Give your child a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated all through the day. Gradually include all food groups in your child’s diet that is staple in your family. Good luck and take care.

A. Do you add some water while boiling milk?? which milk do you give? If you give cow or buffalo milk please add some water to it so that it gets easily digested by the baby and you can add some jaifhal powder to milk to stop diarrhea
