Q.

Whenever my baby wants to play, hiccups started. Even after an hour of feeding, I can't lay him down to play, else hiccups would start. How serious this is and what are the possible causes ? Please help, as it seems to be hurdle to my child's growth way. He can't even control his head, because I can't give him tummy time or lie him down to play and learn.

A. No need to worry for hiccups Burp properly after each and every feed for atleast 10 min or till baby take 4 burp  Feed ur baby as per baby's demand only  Don't overfeed ur baby  Keep a watch on urine output  Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day

A. Thank you for responding. He do not burp even if I carry him on shoulder for 15-20 minutes, but I always carry him in tilted 45° position for 25-40 minutes after every feed. But, even after that If I lay him down to play he will get hiccups. Other child in my family don't have similar issues. Is there anything wrong with my child ?
