DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 18 months old and if he doesn’t have tongue tie and he is mentally sound then he may start speaking monologues words like papa and mamma etc after 13/15 months

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. for proper fluent speech you need to wait till 3 years of age of the child to speak in complete sentences clearly and fluently if ifts not so then consult doctor to know if speech therapy is required.till that time keep interacting as much as possible in your spoken language and involve thte child in language learning activities using audiovisual aids too. dont worry if other milestones are normal this will also be achieved in time at times it may get delayed..there are variations in children by age for this. . .
