When will a baby is prescribed with mega CV 228.5 dry syrup? please advise

A. mega CV 228.5mg dry syrup 3.3g/30ml.. doctor has written 3ml two times/day..is it correct dose?? confused because till now I have given drops of any medicine..baby weight is 5.6 kg..help me..I should give now..tia
