When to stop giving Vitamin D3 ?

A. you have to continue vitamin d3 supplement till you are not able to take the child in sunlight. if you are giving 400 units you have to give 1ml everyday and if you're giving 800 units you have to give 0.5 ml everyday. the thing is that you have to keep the child in sunlight for at least half can hour between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for proper vitamin d exposure. so if youc are able to take the child in sunlight you can stop vitamin d supplement

A. hi dear Treatment includes stopping vitamin D intake and restricting dietary calcium. Your doctor might also prescribe intravenous fluids and medications, such as corticosteroids or bisphosphonates. Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity.
