You will see symptoms like more drooling, putting everything in mouth, touching ears often, for some they face even pain and discomfort and reject feeds. You will see the gums get hard or itchy too. In this case you can always use a teether which will help the baby relieve pain and itchiness. I have been using silicone teether from Bump2Cradle and it's awesome.
