Q.
When is the appropriate time the babies walk and stand on their own.My daughter did not crawl and for now she’s 9 months, is this worrisome?!

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also.
if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening the muscles needed for sitting and crawling.
in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later walk with support and then without support.
take a medical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.
walking with support will come any time between 9 months to 15 months of age.
walking without support will come maximum by 18 months of age so before that there is no need to worry and you have to just continue regular diet of thed child( food made from cereals pulses fruits veggies milk) as well as baby massage and regular massage will also help in improving the muscle strength which will help in walking. regular encouragement for the child to walk
