Q.

when I went to pediatrician for not passing motion for 4 days for my 2 month baby he gave neotonic enema, does it have any effect on my baby

A. usually not needed whenever there is confusion regarding the treatment given by your doctor and if you are not satisfied with the answers you can always take a second opinion of another doctor of the same field. weather a particular investigation or treatment is proper or not can be confirmed only after taking relevant history and doing proper examination of the child which will be done by the second doctor.

A. hi but as such there isn't any need of it because it is normal for newborns to not pass stool Upto 7 days so avoid giving it give plenty of breastfeeds make sure your child get enough milk give gentle massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands move your child legs in cycling motions
