Q.

when I stretch my baby's navel I can see a small pinkish lump inside ...there is no discharge or smell ..my baby does not feel any discomfort when we touch around the navel ....the navel should be closed right but it's kind of small opening there..am worried about it

A. Write Your Answer Here It could be an umbilical granuloma but we cannot be sure as long as we examine it directly so better consult the pediatrician or a pediatric surgeon and get it evaluated

If You feel that there is something wrong with it then you will have to get it properly assessed with your paediatrician because a personal check up would definitely be recommended before we suggest you anything and if there is anything wrong according to you or the doctor that treatment can be started a
