NESTA TOYSMom of a 3 yr 11 m old boy7 months agoA. Most kids can start sleeping on their own between the ages of 3 to 5 years, though this varies for each child. It depends on their emotional readiness and ability to self-soothe. Creating a consistent bedtime routine, such as reading or singing, helps them feel secure and adjust to sleeping alone.
It’s important to start gradually by encouraging independent sleeping in a positive, comforting way. Some children may take longer and need extra support, while others adapt quickly. Patience is key, as every child is different. Consult a pediatrician if sleep habits become a concern or if your child has difficulty adjusting.

You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors like temperature of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunger.
In older chiltdren a proper discipline is required so that the sleeping pattern can be scheduled according tgo a proper time try to avoid too much of screen time with sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.
