when dettol and sevlon antiseptic is not available in market , due to corona , which alternate options one u can suggest for boy ( 7 yr old ) bath ( diluted with water ) once a week and for baby laundry ( as we have take out baby once a week for medical treatment ) as disinfectant whether medical bleaching powder or liquid can work?

Dr Javed HussainFather of 2 children6 years agoA. hello dear parent, if you do not have such antiseptic lotions, even using simple soap and water is more effective and cheaper alternative to clean your kids hands.. do not use bleaching powder on the body and use it only to clean the house surfaces

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children6 years agoA. there is no need to use routinely Dettol and savlon in giving bath to a baby . you can use soap and warm water to give bath is sufficient to avoid any infections as far as clothes are concerned you can dry them in hot sun so that all virus and bacteria can be killed
