When can we give direct shower to baby ?

Direct shower as a you want to put your child under the shower or what because if you wanna do that then you can do it probably after the age of 6 to 8 months that when the child is in your lap because the child will not be able to stand under the shower comfort and close the year by using an earplug or cotton
