Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. By dry fruits if u mean raisins, dates etc., you can start th slowly now. Raisins u can soak in water overnight and give the juice in the morning. You can give dates in mashed or pureed form. Start with few spoons and see if it suits ur baby. One dates will be ideal to start with. You can then slowly and gradually increase upto 2 or 3 dates. Don't give pieces which can cause choking hazard. But if u r asking about nuts, Some babies tend to develop nut allergy when introduced to tree nuts like almonds, cashew, pistachios, walnut etc., So it's better to give nuts after the baby is one year old specially if there is a history of nut allergy in ur family
