talk more often to your child.
for now child is very small to learn and speak..let them stay quiet and concentrate and explore their surroundings

It Happens after the age of 10 to 11 months slowly gradually they pick up words and mostly if you see the child will start talking properly after the age of 3 to 4 years only not before that so definitely you can wait up to you that is for your child to speak properly
