ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Common cold is a viral infection of nose and throat. Nasal Congestion and runny nose are the main indicators of a cold. Keep feeding your baby well, give indirect steam or use humidifier, put saline nasal drops. Apply vicks baby rub on chest, back and sole of the feet. You can prevent it by keeping your baby away from the person who is suck, wash your hands before handling the baby, clean baby's toys and pacifier often

Sonam PrasadMom of a 9 yr 8 m old boy7 years agoA. give warm water to drink Roast Ajwain on low flame in a pan, wrap it in a kerchief to make a potli and allow the kid to inhale it or hold it near the nose of infants. Saline drops do wonders to blocked nose, pour 2 to 3 drops in each nostril with the head of the baby tilted down to facilitate the easy flow of the saline into the nose.
