what should I include my baby's diet for her brain development

A. Dear parent, maximum brain development occurs till 2 years of age therefore it is important to provide optimum nutrition and supportive environment Give a balanced diet having variety of food groups especially fruits and vegetables continue breastfeeding till 2 years breastfeeding not only supports physical growth but is also important for mental development and motor skills provide cognitive stimulation and loving environment: for 6 to 9 months give your child toys that make sound or that can be banged it can even be safe household things like metal pot and spoon respond to your child's sounds and interest. call the child's name, and see your child respond. for overall health and good mental development a balanced diet having variety of food groups at least 2 serving of good protein like pulses beans egg soya , milk and Milk products, fish ,chicken, meat variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables and green leafy vegetables, especially vitamin A containing yellow orange green fruits and vegetables good fats providing Omega 3 for brain : Nuts like walnut, almond ,dry fruits, peanuts, flaxseed, lobia, fish.
