Q.

what's the reason behind dark gums? my 7 years old is relatively fair but her gums are quite dark. Is is due to a deficiency?

A. brush teeth thrice a day. avoid sweet and sticky food. start iron calcium and multivitamins supplements regularly and protein powder with milk twice a day. you can also run lemon and salt

A. hi it happens because of many reasons like nutritional deficiency,poor oral hygiene ,etc so please offer homemade healthy food give calcium rich food like ragi, nuts, dairy products etc more. provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day keep your child well hydrated avoid giving RO water provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day don't give sticky and sugary food brush your child teeth twice in a day with low flouride toothpaste maintain good hygiene
