Q.

What's the difference between 400 IU and 800 IU of D3 Vitamin. I've been giving 400IU of D3 to my 4 month old baby. But doctor advised to give 800IU from now. please suggest if I can switch from 400 to 800 IU.

A. My baby is 45 days old, during discharge from hospital Dr advised to give her ultra D3 400 IU where as now at her 6 wks vaccination the other Dr asked me to giver her Elshine 800 IU 1ml per day... is it okay to switch? will there be any side effects on the babies health??

A. generally babies below 6 months you had to give vitamin D3 400 international units per day more than six months we can do 800 per day is baby is having any deficiency that dose can be increased
