Q.
what is the use of Rantac syrup!? when I give this to my 2 month old baby he passes daiper full stool once or twice in a day.. if I don't give this syrup he poops very little 3 to 4drops 5-6timez in a day.. do I need to use this syrup regularly?? I give him both formula and breastfeed. please suggest

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. yes, this was prescribed by doc only.. that's why I am using it..but I observed this after using this syrup. do I stilll need to use it ? I am not sure why doc has given this syrup

Dr Sameer awadhiyaFather of a 12 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. this syrup is basically given as antacid and for more query you can consult your doctor but do not give any medicine by yourself without a proper dose it is not recommended
