#gynaecologist What is the range of AFI at 37 weeks? I have normal levels throughout pregnancy but only at 37 weeks it is 6.9. will drinking water improve it by next week?I donot want to go for induced labor.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 4 m old boy5 years agoA. Hello...An AFI between 8-18 is considered normal. Median AFI level is approximately 14 from week 20 to week 35, when the amniotic fluid begins to reduce in preparation for birth. An AFI < 5-6 is considered as oligohydramnios.
