what is the purpose of Fusidic Acid Cream I.P..??????..my babies doc suggested for it diaper rash

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Yes, it's right. Diaper rash is common skin condition in babies. The main cause of diaper rash is when skin comes in contact with pee, poop, and sweating. Try to keep the skin dry and clean . Change the diaper after every four to five hours or when soiled by potty immediately. Give diaper free time till the rashes heal. Use a diaper ointment that contains zinc oxide or petroleum jelly i. e Vaseline with diaper change.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 4 m old child7 years agoA. hello...it is anti rash cream....when there is diaper rashes along with infection being cause for it doctor might suggest for it...use it as advised by your doctor for prescribed no of days....your baby will free from rashes too
