Fir Put any age group it is 99° fahrenheit mostly if the temperature crosses 99° fahrenheit then it would be considered fever and if it is even 98.8° fahrenheit then it would not be fever so in that case you do not have to give any medicine to the child and do not ever give medicine to the child without taking the temperature with a thermometer
