what is the minimum age to give supplement like horlicks or complan ?? which brand is good for 2 years old.

Dt Ritu PuriGuardian of 2 children5 years agoA. hi dear mom, ideally it is not very advisable to add these powder in baby's milk.. these r more like flavor... if u want to add supplements u cn use nutrisure, pediasure etc as they contains nutrients

deepa pMom of a 8 yr 6 m old girl5 years agoA. hi, I had asked the same question to my baby's paediatrician, so happy that you asked the same. Generally babies are introduced to various health drinks by age 2. My doctor said drinking milk alone without adding anything is fine. Today there are a wide range of powders available with added dha, vitamins, minerals etc for the bone and brain development of babies. I have personally tried boost, Horlicks and bournvita brands. Every baby is different and we cannot expect them to like everything. you can check for the nutritional content and other claims brands make and buy accordingly. thanks
