Dr Amitraj MhetreGuardian of a 9 yr 5 m old girl7 years agoA. Conditions in which bile pigment in stool is not broken down to normal brown colour, you will have green stool. Remember green stools can also be due to green colouring of food or certain green vegetables. Tc.

Green poop is normal in formula fed babies or could be imbalance of foremilk and hindmilk feed the baby well on one side till empty so that the baby gets hind milk too and sometimes it could be due to iron supplements. Don't worry if the baby is active and healthy otherwise and not cranky and the poop is not watery or foul smelling
