What is the meaning of "Ectopic Malrotated Left Kidney - Congenital Variant"? What is the risk factor or effects for my baby?

A. It means the kidney is not in its place where it should be. That is ectopic. Malrotated means it is rotated along its axis. The effect would depend on the symptoms that it causes. Be in touch with the team of doctors dealing with the child.
