ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. No disadvantage. They are indicated in colic, gas issues in babies. Improves digestion. Burping is important because when baby may suck in a lot of air while at your breast especially when he is hungry or eager to suck. To help bring up the aur, you should pick the baby upright across your shoulder for 10 to 15 mins after feeding and pat his back gently downwards.
