A. Hi, teething toys are for baby to chew to soothe the hard gums.
Soother or Pacifier is to calm a crying baby.
Both are not needed for a child.
It’s good not to use soothers.

A. they are same things mostly they are used because baby seem to relax when they are sucking on something keep clean always
