Santosh RajputGuardian of 0 children5 years agoA. actually lactogen 1 contains Probiotics that helps in better digestion, Nan pro contains DHA that helps in better growth of baby, other ingredients are almost same, but price is a major difference. I think a probiotic is more important that is in lactogen1 if your baby feels gassy and difficulty in stool passing , otherwise both are good.

Saurabh SaxenaFather of a 5 yr 10 m old boy5 years agoA. IMO, main difference is that Nan PRO contains probiotics which makes it more similar to breast milk while Lactogen is just powder milk. If the baby is completely on formula because of some reasons, Nan PRO is the better option as its probiotics helps in increasing immunity and the baby will be less gassy. Lactogen can be used as a top-up if the mother's milk is coming in less quantity. Since, mother's milk already contains probiotics, usage of Lactogen will not make your baby gassy. That is my experience, please go as per your paediatric.

Samidha MathurMom of 2 children8 years agoA. hi, there is only one single difference with respect to the nutrients level.. it is of the presence of probiotics.. probiotics is available in Nan Pro stage 1.. probiotics is very good for maintaining the proper digestive systems because sometimes formula milk is quite heavy to digest for the infants ... otherwise there is no visible or tasted difference.. and yes Nan Pro stage 1 is quite costly as compared to the lactogen 1...
