what is the difference between 400 iu and 800 iu D3 drops? My doctor suggested 400 iu but I have 800 iu. Can I give it ?

A. Hello, your baby girl is 3 months old and she is given 400 iu vitamin d3 per day and you have 800 iu vitamin d3 drops, so give half of the brand with you,means 50 percent less of the your bottle and not the doctor has priscribed you.
