what is the age for teething... my baby is 8 month old but still not have any teeth...i only give purees coz she is very hard to have solids

Yes you can offer puriees,mashes..
Once teething starts give finger foods (steamed vegetables,fruits) hard swollen gums,motions,crankyness,rejecting feed due to gum pain are symptoms of teething.
Soothe with teethers give semi solids,warm soups,finger foods which ease from gum pain.
