Dr Javed HussainFather of 2 children5 years agoA. Pica is an eating disorder in which a person eats things not usually considered food. Young kids often put non-food items (like grass or toys) in their mouths because they're curious about the world around them. But kids with pica (PIE-kuh) go beyond that. Sometimes they eat things that can lead to health problems.

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr 3 m old boy5 years agoA. Hi mom Pica habit is the habit of the babies to eat non edible things like sand, mud, chalk, wall paint etc. This is due to nutrient deficiency in baby. For this u need to consult with your doctor for the same as he will prescribe medicine after the proper evaluation of the baby.
