What is MCU test ? What are the process of this test is this painful for a gal baby of 4 month old

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. it's micturating cystourethrogram . to check any anomalies in urinary system . it's not painful You should get your self or baby evaluated by the doctor in person. That will be necessary and will help in diagnosis and proper treatment. Avoid home remedies in this case .

MCU means micturition cysto utrethrography and this test is done to see the urinary tract anatomy whether there is some Reflux or any other thing which may be the cause for recurrent urine infection it is a procedure So ya it is a bit painful
