POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy6 months agoA. A lump behind your baby's ear that has been present for a month could be due to several common reasons:
Swollen lymph node – often occurs after a cold, ear infection, or minor scalp infection. It’s usually small, movable, and not painful. Sebaceous cyst – a harmless, fluid-filled bump under the skin. Dermoid cyst or lipoma – soft, non-cancerous growths.
If the lump is not growing, red, painful, or oozing, and your baby is otherwise healthy, it may not be serious. However, since it has lasted a month, it’s best to have a pediatrician evaluate it to rule out infection or any underlying issue.
