what is atypical febrile seizures and how to prevent this

A. Normal febrile seizures will occur when the child is running very high temperatures and will happen only once during that particular period of illness. It will also last only for few minutes. But atypical febrile seizure are complex ones. It may last more than fifteen minutes and occur multiple times during a particular illness. For prevention, treatment or medication its better to get the baby examined by ur pediatrician and follow his advice. It depends on the childs current physical health.
