ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Hello, They are the same thing. Mostly they're used because many babies seem to relax when they are sucking on something. Many babies learn to suck their thumb or hand, and that's harder to keep clean, so a binky, soother, pacifier... are used.

SantoMom of a 8 yr 10 m old girl7 years agoA. Both are same dear. Avoid pacifiers. Once if your baby gets used to it it's is difficult to stop it. Better to keep all these away and feed well your baby.
