what if i give cow milk to 2 months old baby

A. Cow's milk can only be introduced to a baby when he or she turns one year old and not before that. It is too heavy for a baby's stomach. It can cause iron deficiency anemia if introduced at this age as cow's milk has less iron content when compared to breast milk or iron fortified formula milk. Exclusive breastfeeding is advisable till the time the baby completes 6 months of age.
