what if he does not discharge everyday. sometimes he misses a day. also when can I start finger foods

its fine if the baby does not passes stool in a day
try giving him fruit puree, mix vegetable soups
finger foods can be introduced little later, as of now give soft blended foods

Constipation is common in babies less than one year. As u have started with the solids, also give adequate water to ur baby in a day to get relief from constipation.
U can start finger food once ur baby completes 9 months.
