ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Use products formulated especially for babies that is free from harsh additives parabens sulphates and pthalates and is unscented or not strongly fragrant. Simply pure coconut oil or almond oil like badam rogan shirin are good options as massaging oils. Mamaearth sebamed aveeno or himalaya products are preferable Massaging builds up a bond with your baby. It’s good to tone and strengthen the muscles. Relaxes the body and helps baby sleep better . Massaging improves the blood circulation and decreases the discomfort by gases and congestion too. Massage baby when he is well rested and taken meal atleast 30 minutes prior up the massage time. Give a luke warm water bath after massage. Can use a gentle moisturiser after bath. If the baby's skin is more dry apply aquasoft max cream after bath.
