Q.

what does ketones positive in urine routine test indicate? My kid has mild fever around 99-100.4 temperature since 4 days. She complains of stomach pain. Doctor suggested urine routine and culture. Ketones is indicated as positive in urine routine report. I'm worried, please advise.

A. definitely this is a matter of concern which your doctor will explain you and it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination and if it is need for appropriate investigations in this regard and far proper management of the problem
