What diet plan should I follow for my 1 year old,, for better growth & proper nutrition.

A. Dear mum, for your 1 year old, you should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Give variety of grains, cereal, pulses and legumes. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add powdered nuts like almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts to baby’s foods. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Continue to breastfeed. Add ghee to baby’s food.
