A. A few babies will have a tendency of developing febrile seizures where there is an abrupt rise in their body temperature and make the baby sleep on one side to avoid swallowing the tongue. Also usually it will go away by five years of ageWrite Your Answer Here

A. Febrile seizures are seizures or convulsions that occur in young children and are triggered by fever. The fever may accompany common childhood illnesses such as a cold, the flu, or an ear infection. In some cases, a child may not have a fever at the time of the seizure but will develop one a few hours later.Seizures in Children Treatment Help the child to lie down on their side, preferably in a flat, non-crowded area. ... Remove glasses or other harmful objects in the area.Do not try to put anything in the child's mouth to try to stop the seizure; you may injure the child or yourself.
