What causes colic in babies and symptoms for colic. How long babies with have this colic problem.

GulnozaMom of 2 children8 years agoA. colic caused by swallowing air during feed, usually colic happens, in the late evenings, and night and if baby cries the same time everyday for more than 3 days it is suspected due to colic. colic pains more happens, among babies under 3 months, reaches its peak around, 3-4 months and gradually decreases after that, by the time of first birthday it disappears. to avoid colic it is advised not to use bottles, burp after each feed, massage baby' s tummy ( around navel) in clockwise direction during massage, give tummy time, do cycling exercise few times a day.

Colic pain is nothing else but the gas if a baby is crying a lot then get gas, if the baby sucking on his fingers and part of his mouth is open they are sucking in gas, if the baby's bottle feed they are taking gas the best way to avoid pain is to keep their heads up right while feeding also massage in their legs and Tummy always is a good idea and also you should keep a check on what you are having if you are breastfeeding and one more thing you need to do is cycling exercise for babies it works wonders
