Hi the best and ideal food to start after 6 months along with breastfeed is you can start with Rice and dal water, Vegtable purees ,Boiled and mashed potato,sweet potato,carrot, Pureed vegetables and fruits, porridges of raw or ragi ,mashed banana ,chicoo..start with 1 spoon 1 time in a day and gradually increase.Always remember a 3 days rule before introducing new foods like when u start with something continue the same food for 3 days and see if the baby is comfortable with that food and then you can introduce a new one.

different seasonal fruits and veggies are best .
you can prepare vegetables puree ( potato, sweet potato, carrot ,green peas , spinach, pumpkin etc )
fruits puree (apple ,pear , papaya, banana , chickoo etc),ragi porridge , suji hlwa , or makhana kheer etc are best.
